Adultery, Adversity, Anger, Anxiety, Conceit

"MOST GLADLY THEREFORE I WILL RATHER GLORY IN MY WEAKNESS THAT POWER OF CHRIST MAY REST UPON ME." 2 Corinthians 12:9

Matthew 5:27-32

You shell not commit adultery. Anyone who divorces his wife exept on the ground of unchastity, causes her to commit adultery.

Matthew 10:16-39

Be wise as serpents & inocent as a dove. Those who find their life will lose it, & those who lose their life for my sake will find it.

Matthew 5:22-24

If you are angry with a brother or sister, you will be able to judgment; & if you insult a brother or sister you will be liable to the council; & if you say, you fool, you will be liable to the hell of fire. Leave your gift there before the altar & go; first be reconciled to your brother or sister, & then come & offer your gift.

Matthew 16:19-34

For out of the heart come evil intentions, murder, adultery, fornication, theft, false witness, slander. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven & whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, & whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. If two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. And in anger his lord handed him over to be tortured until he would pay his entire debt.....

Luke 18:9-14

To some who were confident of their own righteousnessand looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable:10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’

“But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’

“I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
