Forgiveness, Confronting, Gifts, Believe, Faith

One of the great needs we all have is the reconciliation of fractured relationships. At the human level this is very difficult to do. But in the case of our broken relationship with God he has already met us more than half way by offering us reconciliation through Jesus Christ. God's wow of reconciliation i even more profound since God committed none of the wrongs in our relationships with him By accepting the forgiveness he offers we can have our relationship with God restored. We are also called to follow God & to offer the gift of forgiveness to others. If the gift of forgiveness is offered by someone else we can humbly accept it.

Sometimes we need to be comforted other times we need to be confronted other times we need to be confronted. When we confront others about their failures we must make sure that we are seeking their best. We have to take a risk that might lead to other healing or alienation. When we do confront people about their problems we must do so with humility & love, & trust the situation to God. If we do this God will work things out according to his perfect will. Everyone has something to give: time, talents, finances, or just a listening ear. The way that we give & the amount that we give will show our true spiritual condition. It will also determine how much comes back to us from God. When we know what God has called us to do we will know what we need to do. If we humble ourselves & trust God to help us his Holy Spirit will transform our lives with love & patience. When God asks us to live a certain way, he provides the power we need to succeed.

We have been gifted in ways that makes us necessary to others. Others have been gifted in ways that make them necessary to us. Some of us have special gifts for teaching others about God. Others of us may have the gift of caring for hurting people. Whatever gifts we might have they are important for the emotional & spiritual growth of others. Since God has a purpose for each of us it is important that we strive, to know him better through prayer & meditation on his word. As we speak him he will shaw us what our gifts are & how we can use them to help others. As we share our gifts & receive the benefits of other people's gifts we will find the body of Christ growing stronger & healthier.

Believe that God wants to be God in your life. He wants to be your protection. He wants to be your security. He wants to be the first name you call when trouble comes your way. He wants to be the one that you first trust in & look to keep you safe. And if you do that, he will never, never let you down. He can handle all the dangers that surround you. So no matter how terrifying things around you seem to get trust God, he will always be faithful. He will never be out doing something else when you need help. He will be right there to deliver you from any problem any catastrophe any kind of devastation.

Some of us who have been walking in faith for a while, may have grown tired of playing this role. We may found it exhausting to be a model for others. We feel the burden of numerous expectations. As a result some of us may have quit trying to help others. If this is the case, somewhere along the line we stopped letting God work through us & started working for God. As we grow spiritually the responsibilities to help others will always be there but the power to do so must always come from God. We may not be able to control how another person acts in a broken relationship but we can control how we cact. We should never be one to withhold forgiveness. Extend the imitation of restoration to others humbly & without reservation.
