Prayers

Psalm 19:14

"May the words of my mouth & the meditation of my hgeart be pleasing to You, O Lord, my rock & my redeemer."

"I pray that the words of my mouth would be pleasing to you. I pray that the meditation of my heart would be on things that are true, good, right, pure, & lovely - anything that is praise worthy & admirable to You. Father, I know that it is out of the overflow of my heart that my mouth speaks. If my heart is not aligned with the things that are pleasing to You, the words of my mouth never will be. Father, I pray that You will help me in these areas of my life. Thank You, O Lord, You are my rock & my redeemer. I ask You in Jesus Name to grant this prayer, Amen!"

I pray You would help me become more like Christ each & eery day. Father, I am not who I want to be yet, but thankfully I'm not who I used to be. Thank You for preparing good works for me & for using me for Your glory. I know it is because of Your loving kindness & Your unfailing grace that I am capable of any good works. I ask You in Jesus Name to grant this prayer, Amen."

Proverbs 20:12

"Ears that hear & eyes that see...the Lord has made them both."

"You have given me the gift of both eyes that look & ears that hear, & I am sothankful for your gifts. I pray I would see with eyes of the Spirit. Father, I desired the ability to look deeper into people & situations. Let me see with eyes of compassion & humility. When I look at others let me see them the way you do, notseeing their errors or faults, but only the good within them. Father, will you please heighten my looking into seeing, so I may help the hurting & see the lost. Lord, do not let me be blinded to my own faults, when I look in the mirror, let me see myself the way you see me. Father, I pray for spirityal ears that are trained to hear Your word & Your Way, & are able to distiguish truth from lie. I pray that they would become deaf to gossip, slander, & blasphemy, but always delight in worship. I pray for eyes & ears that operates with spiritual discenment at all times. I pray Matthew 7:8 over my life, & everyone within my circle of influence. I am so thankful that You are not a respecter of prersons, but that You see everyone as equals. We can all come before You asking for whatever we need, & we can have confidence that if we ask with unwavering faith, we will receive it. You know our needs & our desires, but You only give us what is suitable, & what You know we will use with good & honest purpose. For that I am thankful. I pray that You align our desires with Your purpose for our lives. Let us never stop seeking Your true riches; grace, kindness, & mercy. Let us never stop seeking a righteous life & Your Kingdom. I pray that we continue to constantly come to Your throne of grace in prayer, knocking at the door of mercy. I know You will always answer. You willnever abandon us. "Father, these teachings are so easy to read, but so much harder to live out. I pray Luke 6:37-38 over my life. Please renew my mind so that it does not judge or condemn others, but intead only thinks thoughts of love & kindness. Please help me be forgiving, in all circumstances, without hesitation. I read Your words & want to obey them, but when real life sitations arise I catch myself in battle, because my flesh would like to act in one way, but my spirit calls me to be better. I recognize my weaknesses & I'am giving them to You, asking You to change me. Father, I have a giving heart. But I want a heart that gives with boundless generosity & limitless kindness to all. I ask that you help me live out Your Word, changing me from the inside out. Renew my mind, heart, & soul. Father help me live out Luke 6:37-38 everyday, all day, becoming more like Christ and less like this world. I ask You in Jesus Name to grant this wish, Amen."
