Prayers: The Lord's Prayer

Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom come,

Thy Will be done in Earth

as it is in Heaven.

Give us this daily bread

& forgive us our debts

as we forgive our debtors,

& lead us not into temptations

but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the KIngdom

& the Power and the Glory

Forever & Ever, Amen.

A Personal Prayer

Dear God, give me complete understanding

of what you want me to do in my life

& make me wise with spiritual wisdom.

Give me a strength with your glorious power

so I will have all the patience & endurance I need.

Forgiveness of Sins

Forgive all my sins

and receive me graciously

that I may offer the fruit of my lips.

No one can save me but You.

No one can love me but You.

Please make me blossom like a vine,

Whiter than a snow.

Please answer me & care for me

let my fruitfulness come from You.

A Daily Examination Prayer

Dear God, with a humbled heart (feel thankfulness)

I thank You for this day

I thank You for being able to see & hear

the beauty of Your Creations

I thank You for your blessings in my life.

I humbly request your forgiveness

for everything I have done, said, or thought

in contrary to Your Will ... (think about it)

Please protect me, my family , & my friends

from danger & support me with Your wisdom

to accept all things that come my way with gratitude ... (mean it)

Let me no whine

& whimper over things

beyond my control

Let me recognize any sin

& acknowledge it as evil;

& when I sin, give me the courage to confess

& repent for my wrongdoings.

Give me the strength so I can encourage others

Give me knowledge so that I could provide

direction to those who have lost their way.

I pray for all my near & dear ones to know you intimately;

I pray for those misjudged & misunderstood to have mercy;

I pray for peace, love, & joy to dominate my family's

& friends' lives that all their needs be met.

Even in those moments when I don't pray

I ask You to please listen to my heart

& continue to use me to do Your Will ...

When this World closes in on me, I pray

that You make me go as clean as the way

You created me.

May the Words of this prayer be

received into the hearts of every eye

that sees them, & every mouth

that confess them willingly
